Pick Your Supplier

You can actually give out virtually anything, but it is advised to take some time to think about what type of gifts would be in line with the nature of your business. If you are sourcing products from an external firm, you will also need to look into that company’s details, to ensure that they can meet your demand and quality of their product order.
Just handing out your promotional umbrellas to everybody is not going to work, and will definitely not help you achieve your objectives. You need to devise a plan to make your promotional campaign know all over the town or country: for example, you can bundle some of your products with the promotional items, put out advertisements, hand over leaflets and anything else that might make people aware of what’s going on.
Define a Time Limit
Handing over promo items is good, but when you take it too far and hand them over for extended periods of time, people will slowly forget the fact that they are promotional items in the first place. As such, your promotional campaign will lose its value. In order to keep it relevant, make sure to set a time limit for the campaign. If you still did not meet your objectives, you can start a different campaign later on, as by then people will have forgotten about your previous attempt.
